There really was nothing like Claudio's hopkick in previous games, with its insane range and evasiveness while being only -13 on block.Īrc Blast had really good range and was -12 on block, like Dragunov's d/f+2 but that hits further away. It looks kinda mehhh nowadays, but that's because hopkicks are absolutely insane in this game. This was because whereas bounding could be done at the wall to increase combo damage even further, screws give you a wallsplat straight away.Īrc Blast (f+1+2) was a god tier launcher (in my opinion). But bounding with Lars in previous games was extremely easy and would consistently net him high damage no matter where he was on the screen. His bounding tools were among the best in the game -> Now we use Screws, and Lars Screws are really nothing special. The removal of this move was probably the biggest nerf Lars got in Tekken 7. This move was god tier because it was a 15 frames fast CH launcher that would very consistently go below high, was safe on block and tracked to his weak side. This is still present in Tekken 7, although it's much harder to pull off.ĭ/f+2 -> They removed this move in Tekken 7, and then gave it back in the form of FC d/f+2.

Kinda like Devil Jin's u+4.ĭ/f+1 -> Same as now, but would somewhat consistently go below some jabs with a bad hitbox. U/f+3 -> which was the same as now but much more evasive. He basically was super easy to pick up and play, had really strong and easy combos, especially at the wall, and was incredibly evasive.
